Study Participants Needed
PHOENIX - Officials at the Arizona Research Center are searching for two trials of ALT-711 - an investigational drug used to reverse the effects of hypertension.
There are more than 60 testing sites nationally. Patients recruited will receive ALT-711 tablets or placebo one a day for six months.
To qualify, patients must be 50 years old or older, and have a systolic blood pressure of at least 150 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of less than 90 mmHg. Both male and female, diabetic and non-diabetic participants are being recruited.
