Stackhouse Sold to Ecolab
CIT Group Inc., a bank holding company, today announced that Stackhouse, Inc., a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of surgical helmets and smoke evacuators, has been acquired by Ecolab Inc., a global leader in cleaning, sanitizing, food safety and infection prevention products and services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Stackhouse was previously a subsidiary of CORPAK Medsystems, Inc., a portfolio company of Linden LLC, a healthcare and life sciences private equity firm. Linden retained CIT Healthcare to serve as the company’s exclusive financial adviser during the transaction.
“The Stackhouse sale is part of our broad investment banking and lending relationship with Linden,” said Rob Andrews, managing director of CIT Healthcare. “As Linden’s adviser, we drew on our extensive relationships with healthcare companies to identify the strategic buyers that could bring the most value to Stackhouse.”
