Medline Settles Patent Infringement Lawsuits on Protective Gloves With Aloe Vera
MUNDELEIN, Ill. -- Medline Industries, Inc., Shen Wei (USA), Inc., Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Safeskin Corporation announce the settlement of two patent infringement lawsuits. Under the settlement agreement, no later than April 11, 2003, Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Safeskin Corporation will discontinue the sale and/or distribution of any protective gloves containing aloe vera within the United States, and as of October 11, 2003, Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Safeskin Corporation will discontinue sale and/or distribution of any protective gloves containing aloe vera in certain foreign countries.
