Kimberly-Clark Professional Donates Supplies to Assist Fargo in Flood Clean-up Efforts
Kimberly-Clark Professional is donating thousands of health and hygiene products to help businesses and residents in Fargo, ND, clean up from the extensive damage caused by the recent Red River flooding.
"These areas have sustained significant damage as a result of the flooding that took place this past weekend," said Richard Thorne, vice president of Kimberly-Clark Professional, North America. "At Kimberly-Clark Professional, our focus is on enhancing the health, hygiene and well-being of people everywhere, particularly those in need. We hope this donation will help the local business community, as well as its residents, in the flood cleanup effort."
The donation includes the following:
-- 104,000 WypAll wipers, which includes a mix of disposable and reusable wipers that absorb everything from water and other liquids to oils, grease and solvents.
-- 1,440 KleenGuard M-Series particulate respirators to protect against airborne particles during the cleanup effort.
-- 888 pairs of KleenGuard gloves, which offer excellent hand protection for many cleanup tasks.
-- 800 KleenGuard coveralls and other apparel, which offer protection and comfort for cleanup workers and volunteers.
The items will be delivered by Cole Papers and Dacotah Paper, two Fargo-area distributors of Kimberly-Clark Professional products.
