HyGreen, Inc. Signs Distribution Agreement with Unison Group
HyGreen, Inc., manufacturer of an electronic hand hygiene reminding and recording system, announces a partnership and distribution agreement with Unison Group to build strategic relationships with GPOs and IDNs to market and distribute its HyGreen Hand Hygiene System.
Every year, failure to wash hands causes thousands of deaths in the U.S. as organisms are transmitted from patient to patient via the unwashed hands of healthcare workers. The HyGreen Hand Hygiene System supports Unison's commitment to safer, cleaner environments by actively reminding healthcare workers to wash before patient contact and wirelessly recording hand hygiene compliance.
Unison has always sought to use supplier diversity to deliver cutting-edge solution to the healthcare industry. "Technology will be an increasingly more important solution in the fight against hospital acquired infections," says Michael Stewart, director of business development. "We are committed to helping our hospital partners deliver on their goals to create safe patient environments."
"We are pleased to begin this agreement and to provide HyGreen to the customers that Unison serves," says Kevin Quilty, executive vice president of HyGreen, Inc. "We look forward to working with Unison to help hospitals lower infections and save lives."
