HLAC Seeks Accreditation Inspector
The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) seeks laundry and textile professionals interested in working as an HLAC accreditation inspector. Â
The HLAC inspector is an independent contractor, not an employee of HLAC. The sole responsibility of an HLAC inspector is to inspect laundries seeking Accreditation by adhering to the HLAC standards and to submit inspection evaluations to the HLAC Accreditation Subcommittee. The HLAC Accreditation Subcommittee is the authoritative body granting accreditation. Inspectors do not have the authority to grant accreditation.
Before applying for an HLAC inspector position, interested applicants should address with their employers the necessary time away from the office (one to three days a month) to conduct HLAC inspections.
