Healthcare Technology Safety Institute Launches LinkedIn Group
The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) Foundations Healthcare Technology Safety Institute (HTSI) has started a LinkedIn discussion group to help foster solutions to safety challenges involving medical technologies.

Group members can share best practices, suggestions, questions, and read about the latest activities from HTSI, which was created by the AAMI Foundation. The institute is already addressing infusion pump and alarms challenges, and plans to tackle small bore connectors in the future.
These topics all represent complicated, multidisciplinary, interrelated challenges involving systems of systems, the LinkedIn group profile reads. This group is designed to support and build off the momentum of AAMIs recent summits and the ongoing work being done through AAMIs new HTSI. Through this group, we invite you to join the conversation with the HTSI community, to pitch in for the long haul, and to use this forum to help advance safety in healthcare technologies.
AAMI also has a group on LinkedIn called The AAMI Community, where professionals discuss vital issues such as licensing and certification, and problems with reprocessing reusable medical devices.
