Healthcare Tax Credits Solve Uninsured Problem
DALLAS, Tex-A bill has been introduced to the House of Representatives that would provide a refundable tax credit to help the uninsured purchase private health insurance.
John C. Goodman, president of the National Center for Policy Analysis, said the bill is a step in the right direction. He and the NCPA have been active in working with Congress to develop bipartisan tax credit bills. Goodman served as a health policy advisor to President Bush during his campaign. Bush has also endorsed tax credits as part of his health reform platform.
