ECRI Institute Calls for Entries for 2014 Health Devices Achievement Award
ECRI Institute announces that it is now accepting submissions to its 9th annual Health Devices Achievement Award program. Each year, ECRI Institute, an independent nonprofit that researches the best approaches to improving patient care, recognizes a healthcare organization for achieving excellence in technology management and patient safety. Previous winners have included Methodist Hospital of Southern California, the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, and Texas Childrens Hospital, and ECRI encourages submissions from a wide range of large and small hospitals and health systems.
We look forward to receiving our 2014 submissions and learning more about innovative initiatives underway in this country and abroad, says James P. Keller, Jr., vice president of health technology evaluation and safety, ECRI Institute. The organizations that have submitted applications for our award in the past are clearly making a major impact on improving patient care and patient safety through their technology management initiatives.
