Case Medical to Participate in IAHCSMM Panel on Reprocessing Reusable Packaging
Case Medical, as a principal partner of IAHCSMM, announces that it will participate in a panel discussion on reprocessing reusable packaging at the IAHCSMM annual conference in early May.
During the workshop sessions, industry experts from Case Medical, Medtronic, and Karl Storz will meet with attendees to discuss sterile processing issues and address reprocessing concerns. Any attendee concerned about reprocessing custom loaner trays, how medical device manufacturers are transitioning from wrapped graphics trays to containers, how the FDA is requiring medical device manufactures to validate their recommended practices and how some medical device manufacturers have initiated independent laboratory studies to validate their reprocessing instructions, should attend. Participants will join medical device manufacturers in a problem-solving workshop to discuss such topics and learn how a healthcare facility verified the process. “Setting a Standard for Reprocessing Custom Trays” repeats in three sessions.
In addition, Case Medical is co-sponsoring the Welcome Lunch on Sunday, as well as the Early Bird Discussion Groups on Monday and Tuesday. Case Medical invites attendees to visit booth #304 on the exhibition floor to see their latest innovations, including paperless count sheets and the company’s Case Trak360 asset management software.
