BBA Urged to Give Relief to Nation's Hospitals
WASHINGTON - The Federation of American Hospitals is applauding the more than 200 members of Congress that have called on House leaders to address their concern that increasingly negative hospital margins across the nation are negatively impacting beneficiary access to quality care.
Organized by Congresswoman Nancy Johnson (R-CT) and Congressman Ben Cardin(D-MD), the Johnson-Cardin hospital relief letter, cosigned by 201 bipartisan members, and a majority of both the House Commerce and Ways & Means Committees, urges House leadership to act before adjournment.
