AAMI Offers Webinar on Ethylene Oxide Cycle Optimization
The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation will offer the webinar, Ethylene Oxide Cycle Optimization on Dec. 14, 2015 from
1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET. The webinar will discuss the varying approaches to optimizing ethylene oxide (EO) cycles such that improvements can be made that may result in lower cycle times, faster turn-around times, and/or reduced EO residuals. This webinar will offer a roadmap that can be used to initiate successful process improvements as well as a methodical approach with examples and tools to facilitate a cycle optimization initiative.
This webinar will present a practical approach to EO cycle optimization so that participants can initiate a project with definable goals and outcome that may result in one or more process improvements, such as, but not limited to, lowering EO residuals, decreasing turn-around time, and can result in a dramatic financial savings to your organization.
After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:
• Identify ways to reduce ethylene oxide residual levels
• Discuss various release mechanisms - biological indicators vs. parametric
• Apply supply chain efficiency through cycle optimization
The speaker is Vincent Caputo, EO technical manager for Synergy Health. Instruction is targeted to quality assurance professionals, quality engineers, and sterilization specialists. The content should have great value to individuals who are involves with process development, manufacturing, operations, quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
The registration fee is $315 for AAMI members and $415 for non-members.
